Food And Drink--The Same But Different!

Every few days, Daddy brings home big boxes of bottled water. We are not supposed to drink the tap water here. We have to drink lots of bottled water, though, because it is so hot and dry! It has been over 100 degrees most of the days, but as long as we stay in the shade, it feels very pleasant.

We have been enjoying the different packaging on food and drink items. Most packages include both English and Arabic writing.

Danish Butter Cookies...

Cashews... These are the biggest cashews we have ever seen!

Cheerios...

Fruit Loops... We have noticed some differences in all of the cereals. They contain less sugar and food coloring than the cereals in the United States. The colors in the Fruit Loops are not very bright and the taste is not very sweet. We were not happy about that, but Mommy thought it was great!

Even the Rice Krispies taste different because there is less sugar.

Milk and cream...

Activity book from McDonald's...

Pizza semi-truck... The Kuwaiti people must LOVE pizza because it is everywhere!
