Headed Home
We will be returning back home this weekend with enough time to rest and recover before the new school week begins. We look forward to seeing our friends on Monday! :)
Trip To The Desert
There were lots of power lines in the desert. We think that they are for powering the oil refineries.

We saw many Bedouin people camped in the desert herding their animals.

Visiting the Grand Mosque
We went on a tour of the Grand Mosque, the seventh largest mosque in the world. They required that the women and children wear robes and head-coverings before entering the building. We enjoyed seeing the beautiful architecture and carvings. We learned a lot about the culture and the main religion here in Kuwait.

Party In The Family Park
Our balcony overlooks a family park. Every night, families gather together in the park to eat, socialize, and watch live music/entertainment. This is what it look like from our view.
Call To Prayer
Several times throughout the day, we hear the Call To Prayer from the mosques in the city. It is as loud as a tornado siren! It startles us every time, but we are getting used to it.
Squealing Wheels!!!
The HOT smooth pavement and rubber tires makes wheels squeal whether we're driving fast or super slow!!!
